CALLIE ELWAYNS, FOUNDER AND CEO
Women’s transformational leadership mentor, speaker, and storyteller.
Callie B. Elwayns is a high achieving executive with over 20 years of corporate leadership experience. She is recognized for her success as CEO for the Calgary Regional Partnership.
Callie’s journey from living on the streets as a young teen, to corporate CEO and community leader, was marked with many struggles and triumphs. She is a living role model for how to cultivate the courage to break through our own inner glass ceilings and step up to play our biggest game!
Callie’s personal and professional transformation includes some of the best training and mentorship in the world, including Harvard Business School Women’s Leadership Program. She invested countless hours working to grow her skills and leadership presence in the board room and on stages speaking, performing, and connecting.
Callie is currently the Founder and CEO for Bold & Visible where she offers life changing programs and mentorship, to catapult women into bold new levels of leadership presence, visibility, and career success. Callie’s unique method draws on performing arts-based practices such as voice and movement training, improvisation, personal storytelling to awaken an embodied experience of authentic feminine power, and leadership presence.
Callie Elwayns is also Curator and Moderator of the Grizzly Den, a panel of inﬂuential business leaders, similar to television’s Shark Tank, who listen to the pitches of clients coming through the Higher Landing career and business transformation program in Calgary, Alberta.
STACIE HARRISON, COllaborator
Actor, director, producer, and acting instructor.
Stacie is a local actor, director, producer, and acting instructor. She is a primary instructor at Company of Rogues Actors’ Studio where she specializes in the Meisner Technique and Voice for the Actor. A graduate of the BFA program at the University of Calgary, Stacie was the founder and Artistic Director of Shakespeare in the Valley in Cochrane, Alberta. She has worked with most of Calgary’s theatre companies and indie film production companies and has taught workshops at numerous educational and corporate institutions across the city. The production company she co-founded with Kirsten Lankester, Any Road Productions, creates female driven content for film, television, and the web.
The foundation of her work as a teacher and actor is based on Sanford Meisner’s principle that “until you are a more honest human being, you cannot be a truthful actor.” She applies this approach to her work in all areas of life including her passion for connecting with people and observing the secret language of behaviour.
