Actor | Director | Producer | Voice Coach

Stacie is a local actor, director, producer, and acting instructor. She is a primary instructor at Company of Rogues Actors’ Studio where she specializes in the Meisner Technique and Voice for the Actor.

A graduate of the BFA program at the University of Calgary, Stacie was the founder and Artistic Director of Shakespeare in the Valley in Cochrane, Alberta.

She has worked with most of Calgary’s theatre companies and indie film production companies and has taught workshops at numerous educational and corporate institutions across the city. The production company she co-founded with Kirsten Lankester, Any Road Productions, creates female driven content for film, television, and the web.

The foundation of her work as a teacher and actor is based on Sanford Meisner’s principle that “until you are a more honest human being, you cannot be a truthful actor.” She applies this approach to her work in all areas of life including her passion for connecting with people and observing the secret language of behaviour.

Photographer | Videographer | Artist

Gillian grew up in Ontario, but don’t judge her too harshly, she’s a prairie girl now, and loves the big skies. She moved here with her husband back in 2015 not knowing anyone but her business partner who was also just moving to Calgary, and her in-laws in Lethbridge. Gillian has been working as a professional photographer since 2005, and started working in film in 2008 starting with a full length feature, and short indie films. She is the co-owner of Studio Lumen which was started in 2015. Studio Lumen is a photo and video company whose business customers need to genuinely connect with their audiences. We help them do this with high impact imagery created using our decades of experience helping camera-shy people feel comfortable, and our artistic taste and attention to detail.
